BEST PERFOMANCE BIKES AVAILABLE FOR 2 LAKH RUPEES

Basically, one doesn’t really need to spend his savings to get a taste of performance on two-wheels. So we list down the top performance motorcycles on sale in India under Rs 2lakh.
BAJAJ PULSAR RS200

The PULSAR RS200 is the first full faired motorcycle offering from the Chakan based two-wheeler giant, BAJAJ. The Pulsar brand is known for performance and affordability in the Indian market and the new PULSAR RS200 takes the limit even higher. While the styling isn’t something one would label as subtle, but the busy design has been warmly welcomed by the younger generation. Powering the Bajaj Pulsar RS200 is the same powerplant as found on the Pulsar 200NS. Difference here is the fact that, the Pulsar RS200 is fuel-injected unlike the carburetted one seen on the Pulsar 200NS. Fuel-injection results in crisper throttle response & avoids cold starting problems along with hike in power output marginally. Providing power to the Bajaj Pulsar RS200 will be a 199.5cc, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected powerplant producing 24.5 PS of power @ 9,750rpm & 18.6 Nm of torque @ 8,000rpm. Power is transmitted to the rear-wheel via a six-speed gearbox. The above numbers & full fairing body makes the new Bajaj Pulsar RS200, the fastest production Bajaj motorcycle with a claimed top whack of 141kmph. The frame, suspension & brakes on the Pulsar RS200 has been borrowed from the Pulsar 200NS. The Pulsar RS200 will be the first motorcycle from Bajaj Auto to offer ABS as an optional extra. The only negative aspect of this vehicle is the High kerb weight of 165kg. The price of the vehicle Ex-showroom Chennai for Non-ABS version is Rs 1,20,486 & for ABS-version Rs 1,32,694.
KTM 390 Duke

The KTM 390 Duke has been the next big revolution in the Indian two-wheeler mass market since the Bajaj Pulsar 220. Customers got introduction to USD forks, ABS, Metzeler tyres as standard offerings for the first time. But what really made KTM 390 Duke make an impression is the 373cc motor developing 43PS@9500RPM of power & 35Nm@7250RPM of torque along with value pricing. This make the KTM 390 Duke take off from 0-100kmph in 6 seconds, finally Indian consumers could lay their hands on a performance bike without breaking the piggy bank & KTM 390 Duke opened the gates of performance biking in our country. Such is the capability of the KTM 390 Duke & if under the capable hands of a skilled rider, it can run circles around many supersport offerings costing six times more than it and having almost thrice its power output. The Ex-showroom Delhi price is Rs 1.90,000. The only negative aspect of this vehicle is vibrations in vehicle & engine heating issues in city traffic conditions.
Honda CBR 250R

The Honda CBR 250R, with its comfortable riding position & ergonomics, makes it a versatile motorcycle that can be used for daily commuting & long distance touring. Although the bike uses CBR branding, its design & character is based on VFR series of sports tourers, which makes the Honda CBR 250R, the most comfortable performance motorcycle on sale. The styling of the bike isn’t sharp as its rivals, but it is a striking machine owing to its size. It has got fairly good amount of grunt in the form of liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, 249.6cc motor generates 26PS@8,500rpm & 23Nm@7,000rpm. The powerplant is mated to 6-speed gearbox that transmits power to the rear-wheel via chain drive. The power output is good enough for the Honda CBR 250R to have a top speed of 150kmph & 0-100kmph in eight seconds. Braking is done via disc brakes at front and rear while ABS is an optional extra. The only negative aspect of this vehicle is the price to features ratio. The on road chennai price of the vehicle ranges from Rs. 1,79,744 to Rs. 2,15,123.
Royal Enfield Thunderbird 500

It has the quintessential cruiser styling with round projector headlamps, large fuel tank, generous seats & raised handle bar. Powering the bike is a 499cc, air-cooled, fuel injected mill churning out 27.3PS @5,250rpm & 41.3Nm at 4,000rpm. The motor is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. With its sharp and edgy lines, the KTM RC200 looks more like a track bike than any motorcycles in its segment. With clip on handle bars, revised fuel tank design & rear set foot pegs; the KTM RC 200 is designed to rule the race track with a sporty riding position. It is a joy to ride motorcycle on the corners, but the aggressive riding posture doesn’t make it the most appealing touring motorcycle. It is powered by a single-cylinder, liquid-cooled 199.5cc engine capable of 25.3PS@10000RPM of power & 19.2Nm@8000RPM of torque.
